new news item 04/23/2009 Homework 4 is available from the Homework page. The CS department machines have AspectJ installed. If you want to install AspectJ on your desk-top or lap-top computers, refer to the file installing-aspectj.txt.
03/24/2009 On Thursday we will meet in the conference room to have proposal presentations; remember also to email me your written proposal by March 31 (Tuesday).
03/24/2009 The due date of Homework 2 is extended from March 31 (Tuesday) to April 2 (Thursday).

01/18/2009 The course syllabus is available as a PDF file [syllabus.pdf]. There is no required textbook for this course; we will use research papers, reference manuals, and other documents available on-line as our course material.
