	Biographical Sketch
	Mr. Bell earned his BA from Texas Western College (now UTEP) in Philosophy, and his M.A., also in Philosophy, from UCLA. After a holding a number of Programming and Systems Analyst positions with UCLA, UTEP, and elsewhere, in 1985 he joined the Computer Science Department as a Lecturer.
	Mr. Bell is interested in the development of autonomous mobile robots, computerized machining techniques using CNC, and high-resolution 3D computer graphics.
	His teaching was recognized in 2003 with the UTEP Distinguished Teaching Award.
